Appraisal Inspections |
| |
|
AeroLLoyd's third party inspectors have performed aircraft appraisals on every continent. Appraisal inspections are not the same as “pre-purchase” inspections. In applying values to a specific aircraft, adjustments are being made for all upgrades, improvements, overall good or worsening conditions of the plane. Our Appraisers follow industry standards for market evaluations, which are based on life limited parts, time between overhauls on the airframe, engines, landing gear, APU, high-cost maintenance items and scheduled major overhaul or shop visits. Appraisers also determine if the aircraft operates under an approved maintenance program and in compliance with all airworthiness directives (AD), and applicable service bulletins (SB). Furthermore, does the plane has traceability of life-limited and time controlled parts, all repairs and modifications have been checked and signed off with full documentation? Values are detrimentally affected on aircraft that have been out of service or off-certificate for prolonged periods of time. Changes in the above parameters and assumptions, as well as availability of long term financing by sellers, can increase the market price 10 to 15%. Distress sales can depress prices 30 to 50%. Stored aircraft can lose 15% in the first year. |
